PhD Candidate: University of Central Florida
New chapter. I'm joining The University of Central Florida this fall as a Doctoral Candidate (PhD Computer Science) with an AII Fellowship. Joint supervision under Dr. Yogesh Rawat and Dr. Shruti Vyas.
The Moment It Hit
January 26th. Emails from Bosch, Microsoft, and UCF arrived within the hour. It felt like every effort converged, a surreal moment where a distant dream became real.
The Path Taken
No straight line here. Challenges defined the journey: ABU Robocon 2022, the Michelin Mobility Innovation Challenge 2022 with its Vision-based semi-autonomous Mining Robot, founding RAID at IIT Jodhpur. Each obstacle was a build.
The Collective Push
I didn't get here alone. Mentors, colleagues, friends, and family – their push, guidance, and tolerance for my quirks were invaluable. This milestone reflects their influence as much as my own drive.
And to Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur – thanks for the opportunities, the challenges. Made me someone I'm proud to be.
